What is disease? 

Does disease develop from a dirty inner terrain? 

How do we know if our terrain is dirty or clean?

For starters, at the very least, when we learn, and stop eating the foods that build disease and a toxic/dirty inner terrain, then we know (at the very least) that we are no longer adding to the problem. 

We must change our habits & choices because disease doesn’t just come about suddenly, it builds slowly over many years & when symptoms present themselves, they are indicative of a dirty inner terrain.

What are some of the signs that indicate that we have waste built up within? We can’t always rely solely on how we feel because we simply do not know, what we do not know – what I mean is, we may think we feel really good, especially when all we have to compare it with is how we’ve always felt.  I know that when I used to deal with headaches every few days, I thought that I felt really good on the days that I didn’t have a headache. 

The majority of us have been suffering to various degrees our entire lives without addressing it as such because it’s simply all that we knew.

Our parents fed us disease forming foods, and we continued to do for most of our adult lives, we’ve been subjected to chemicals (cleaning agents, toxic cheap toys, paints, plastics, toxic building materials, geoengineering spray chemicals in our skies , fluoridated/chlorinated water, etc.), and worse, we’ve been injected & fed chemical medications & other harmful substances. 

Our environment is far from ideal, and there’s hardly a healthy person left on this planet.  The saddest thing about all of this is that even when we are made aware, and we take the necessary steps to improve each important aspect for our health and well-being, we are always playing defence, because there’s just so much to continually counteract . 

I don’t mean to dish out doom and gloom here, I just wanted to offer some perspective, and to share information on how we can turn our health around, but in order to do so, we must be able to recognize when poor health is developing within.

Body Odor

Acne

Liver Spots (brown spots on the skin, often on the face)

Dark circles under the eyes

I’m sure there are others I missed but this gives you an idea of some of the signs that we can look for in our bodies.   But what about more specifically what Organ or Gland is being most compromised?  Can we find a more detailed report of our inner terrain on the outside of our body?  YES!

There are 3 primary ways that we can see inside our body and get a good idea of the state of our current terrain.   Teeth, Face, Eyes.

Chinese Medicine offers us the tooth chart attached below.   Each tooth is connected by hundreds of nerves and blood vessels to various organs in the body.   Cavities, deformations, graying or yellowing of the tooth can all indicate a problem brewing within.

Face Mapping can show us trouble zones as well.  Wrinkles, Acne, Brown Spots in various areas of the face will tell you where the terrain is most troubled”.- Lauren Whiteman 

Once we are able to recognize the early signs of disease, and we’ve learned the truth surrounding the diet & lifestyle / disease connection, it is within our power to heal and to maintain our health, which is precisely why we are all here, sharing & working together to improve ourselves.

We all possess phenomenal will power, but not all of us figure out how to tap into it, and to maintain that willpower long term without some sort of major health scare it seems.

There is so much more we could discuss on this topic, but what is truly important is to not get caught up in compartmentalizing our symptoms because the whole body works together, so if symptoms present themselves, even when they appear to be a localized issue, it is not, it’s the whole body.

We are all well aware in this group that we must become our own doctors because no one can truly help us to keep ourselves in good health, we must learn, and help ourselves.  This is why I felt it would be helpful to share the early warning signs of “dis-ease”.
