When the time arrives to begin a health journey & to begin by eliminating the harmful / acid forming foods from the diet such as Meat, Dairy, Eggs, dormant foods, processed foods, etc. please do not underestimate the cleansing abilities of a large, leafy green, salad!!

Salad Greens play a vital role with assisting to cleanse out decades of accumulated waste from our GI tract …

Using salad greens as a staple food, combined with other transitional diet foods, will help aid with the elimination of old waste – acting as an “intestinal broom” &  providing weight to sweep out old mucus & toxins while scrubbing the intestinal tract & neutralizing acids…

Of course, fruits play a large role during the cleansing process, however, fruits can do their job more effectively when one has lived for some time on a transition diet.  If one does not take the time to use the transition diet to their advantage, we often see  situations where the powerful fruit acids are pulling on sulphur, and mixing with the already present acidic waste, which can create bloating & other uncomfortable symptoms…When this happens, often the blame goes to the fruit and not ones inner terrain before eating the fruit.

Some transitional diet foods include salad greens, steamed veggies, baked yams, raw veggies, baked fruits, raw fruits, soaked or roasted nuts & seeds in moderation, sprouts, wild brown rice in moderation, etc…

 It’s all about examining your current dietary choices and slowly incorporating systematic & incremental changes & improvements throughout the weeks & months which ultimately lead to improved digestion, & healthier dietary choices to ready the body for eventual detoxification….we want to transition over to detoxification in order to heal the root cause of our health issues…

The important transition stage is overlooked by many raw foodists, fruitarians & health seekers…If I had to categorize the transition diet, I would categorize it as an “elimination diet”.

The heavily encumbered individuals, or the individuals that previously lived on diets high in proteins, received vaccinations, medical procedures & pharmaceuticals- often cannot figure out why they do not find remedy with switching to an ALL fruit diet…

This being said, if you are dealing with backed up, stagnant lymphatic system & the medical term “cancer” has entered your world,  often an immediate high fruit / raw diet may be the best approach because your body does not have time afforded in order to slowly transition…The individual who suffers with “cancer” is systemically backed up with acidic waste (head to toe) and the detoxification symptoms that inevitably come with the ingestion of fruits will not always be easy – detoxification s is – seldom is, however, it’s got to be endured…

We all begin from different points, however, we are all dealing with similar issue  to various degrees…toxicity & over acidity from wrong foods, environment & lifestyle…

This is where a full understanding of the processes the body must experience to get well during detoxification & the healing process is vital…otherwise, when the symptoms become uncomfortable, it’s easy to get discouraged & to return to harmful, stimulating foods…(stimulants give the illusion of more energy due to the stimulating nature of them)…

Each individual has got to take the road best suited to their current health issues & living situations to achieve health, & wellness…. meaning, the dietary approach will Often vary from one person to another for a little while, until one can ready the body for the detoxification process.

People have decades of mucus & acidic waste tucked away in crevices & pockets within their bodies & intestinal walls, which must be systematically cleansed out of the body in order to bring the body back to wellness…

This process can take years which requires consistency, patience & understanding…

The scrubbing action & weight required to scrub decades of waste from the intestines can be found in the form of large salads topped with steamed vegetables.

Getting to the fruit only / raw food level is another important step – which generally comes after the important transition period…

A transition diet is not just for cleaning out the decades of accumulated waste, but also for helping one to deal with intense cravings & to avoid shocking the body too quickly …

when we initially eliminate the proteins & stimulants from the diet, an adjustment period is ideal…

If we prepare the body properly through a transitional diet, this will enable the body to benefit optimally from an eventual raw food / high fruit diet..

You can’t be adding gasoline to the engine, and suddenly switch to diesel, without a proper conversion/ transition which can take some time…
(Yes I am aware that these two engines are built differently, but It gets the point across)…

There are important reasons for adopting a transition diet which were incorporated by Arnold Ehret in the early 1900’s.  Ehret had healed thousands of individuals suffering with many types of disease issues at his fasting sanitarium,  he incorporated the  mucusless diet healing system….

He later died a very suspicious death.

Arnold Ehret explains in more detail (In his books) as to why the transition diet is optimal for cleansing our bodies & preparing the body for an eventual high fruit / raw diet.

The mucusless diet is a stepping stone for an eventual high fruit / raw diet for healing & detoxification purposes – as the body becomes cleaner overtime, it will begin to crave more fruits & raw foods, it’s a natural progression….

When I first began my healing journey, fruits didn’t appeal to me due to my inner toxicity issues, however, over the months, as my body became cleaner & less obstructed, I naturally began to gravitate towards more fruits …

A high fruit / raw diet is a worthy goal for health & longevity and for healing and detoxification, yet we each have our own paths to follow…

An individual can still live a relatively healthy life when avoiding processed foods, meat, dairy/eggs, grains, legumes or mucus forming foods in general…

If one manages to minimize, or to eliminate those mentioned harmful foods from their diet, then expect to still experience many health benefits and symptom relief.  Additionally, you are contributing to a better planet, less harm to animals and to yourself. 

It’s YOUR choice with how far you want to take it….

We ALL deserve full disclosure & to learn the truth regarding the diet / disease connection, so that we can chose our path wisely.
