The more Obstructions present within, the more created friction in the body.  Friction leads to a host of issues such as unwanted symptoms or intolerance to the summer heat…It is really that simple.  A heat wave will serve to reveal your true state of health.  If you feel tired, lethargic, too hot & uncomfortable, you could likely benefit from detoxifying & periodic digestive rest (intermittent fasting & fasting) to help eliminate your internal obstructions causing friction.

As soon as the heat wave began here in BC Canada, (35C-47C) my body only wanted hydrating foods such as fruit, water, and some greens from the garden – and I listened of course  … I’ve actually been completely raw for over a week now, these hydrating raw foods do not create friction within because they are simple foods, they are the foods that we are designed to eat, they are not obstructive foods.

What types of foods lead to friction (mucus/acids/obstructions) within? For starters, the Complex carbohydrates such as Wheat, pasta, beans, rice, etc. & High protein foods – such as eggs, fish & meats… Fatty foods, fast/ fake foods, processed foods, and the most obstructive food of all? Dairy!! 

If you’re eating cheese, drinking milk, indulging in yogurt and cottage cheese then please, do not wonder why you’re constipated, or experience skin eruptions, tiredness, lethargy, intolerance to the heat, moodiness, moles, inflammatory issues, brain fog, weight gain, fungal issues such as candida, etc… dairy is very scary when humans decide to violate the laws of nature and drink/eat the calf’s ever-changing growth fluid… Dairy is not designed for human physiology and we pay a major price through our health when we choose to consume dairy products in any form… 

What foods assist the body to cleanse itself and remain hydrated without creating obstructions within? 

Fruits, leafy greens & raw vegetables!!! 

There are many triggers that can expose our true state of health, and those triggers often take the blame instead of our already present – poor state of health – such as the heat … It’s easier to blame an outside source, than to examine why that outside source seems to cause discomfort and unwanted symptoms to arise.  

It’s not the fruits fault (detoxification symptoms), it’s not the suns fault (sunburn) and it certainly is not the heats fault (heat intolerance, tiredness, lack of energy, etc.), these are just triggers- that are serving to expose an already unhealthy condition.  

So what can we do so that we no longer burn easily in the sun, or experience “allergies” after eating watermelon, or experience allergies to certain triggers such as pollen, or feel lethargic & unable to tolerate the heat? 

We can heal.

We can slowly eliminate internal obstructions- that lead to friction- which holds us back from enjoying everything life throws at us … we can return to the foods that do not cause internal obstructions overtime such as high water content, easy to digest & utilize fruits, greens & vegetables! 

We can slowly minimize, & eventually eliminate, the  mucus forming / obstructive foods from the diet such as dairy, fish, eggs, beans, rice, wheat, fast/processed food, etc. We can rest more, stretch, fast a little, focus on the breath and begin to learn to let go… we can return to simplicity because all of our  health issues are created, they are not by chance.

I will say this, I look forward to the day when the majority realizes just how important diet truly is.  We still have health professionals that recommend high protein / high fat diets (these diets lead to internal obstructions and build toxicity within) with no knowledge with what it is that builds disease issues within, in fact, they support the germ theory model where it is still believed that disease is not any fault of our own and that we “catch” disease – which couldn’t be further from the truth, in fact, it’s the opposite to the truth.

Here is another short quote by Arnold Ehret which really puts things into perspective…

“Life is a tragedy of nutrition”.

Because we humans think that it is logical and normal to eat anything under the sun, we pay a major price through our health and still, hardly anyone is on to these simple truths.

So free yourself!  Free yourself from the obstructions and mucus that cause friction within, slowing the motor of life.  And remember “The more waste humans accumulate, the more they must eat to stop the elimination” – Arnold Ehret

It becomes a vicious cycle that can only be broken by you, no one can do it for you!  Take your health into your own hands and learn the truth so that you can enjoy long periods in the sun, heatwaves, pollen flying about, every fruit, and anything life has to offer.
