Detoxification & High Protein Diets do not go hand in hand…

During detoxification we often crave that which the body is releasing…

Meaning, that when the accumulated toxins within are being released, we often experience cravings for that particular food – as the built up residues, associated with that particular food type, come into circulation for elimination…

Now isn’t that freaky?

It’s like, it will get you on the way in, & on the way out if we eat foods that we are not designed to eat… we do not win when we continually eat foods that build disease & are not health promoting for our physiology – cause & effect, there is always a price to pay…

We are designed for easy- to -digest simple foods…

Our body can easily digest simple sugars, this is why fruits & vegetables are so compatible with our physiology.  The complex sugars / complex, high protein foods cause issues such as inflammatory conditions & systemic acidosis overtime.

A good rule for dealing with cravings is to give into them!

And choose an improved version, a less harmful version of that which you are craving….(a protein-less version)…

Remember, we are programmed to think that we need high protein, complex foods for health… the opposite is true if you value your health…

I always say, “Avoid high protein foods as if your life depends on it, because it does”! And Choose your daily food choices as if your life depends on it- because it does!! Your quality of life depends on it…
